Delete your account

For Medora (patients) and Medora Care (doctors and clinic staff).

In the app

  1. Open Medora or Medora Care and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile and tap Delete my account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm and tap Request deletion.

This also works in the browser: app.medora-medical.com for patients, app.medora-care.net for staff.

Without the app

Email care@medora-medical.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm it's you.

What happens

  • We usually finish within 7 days and email you when it's done. Until then your account keeps working and you can cancel the request in the app.
  • Patients: your account and everything about you are removed from the apps — you can't sign in, and your care team no longer sees you in Medora. Medical records clinics must keep by law are moved to a secure archive, not destroyed.
  • Doctors and staff: you can't sign in any more and your contact and registration details are removed. Visit notes and prescriptions you wrote stay in your patients' records with your name, as medical records must. If you own a practice where others work, hand it over first.
